59. Handel Wallwork was born on 22 Apr 1823.³³ He was baptized on 27 Apr 1823 in St Michael, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancs..²⁸ He appeared in the census in 1851 in 39 Queen Street, Ashton under Lyne. He died on 3 Dec 1874.³⁴ He was an overlooker, 1843. Mottram, 1843 ? had a 3rd child? (no mention in will) Will copy refers to wife Mary, also mentions "plot of land at Hurst and six messuages or dwelling houses thereon", and also refers to niece Emma.

Handel Wallwork and Ann Pallet were married on 5 Feb 1843 in Mottram in Longdendale, St. Michael.^28,35 Ann Pallet was born in 1820 in Alwood, Staffordshire.³⁶ She appeared in the census in 1851 in 39 Queen Street, Ashton under Lyne.³⁶ 1851 Census records Handel, Ann (wife) and Jane Pallet (Pellet?) (s. in law, age 17) at 39 Queen St. She was a winder, 1843. b. 1820, Staffs. was winder, Mottram in 1843 Handel Wallwork and Ann Pallet had the following children:
